WHERE: Nordstrom Downtown
WHAT: Calling all aspiring designers, pun lovers, and those who have a way with words: New York–based custom apparel brand Bow and Drape is teaming up with Nordstrom's Latest Pop-In (dubbed Magic Hour) for a showcase of its one-of-a-kind customer personalization technology. Shoppers simply visit the pop-in, use an iPad to craft their unique design, and voila: a fancy new garment is finished within an hour's time.
Described as the "Build-a-Bear for women's fashion" by the company's CEO, Aubrie Pagano, Bow and Drape offers tote bags, casual attire, and even adorable petwear. Choose from one of the brands signature (often food related) one-liners like "You Had Me at Merlot" or "Miso Hungry"—or come up with a phrase entirely your own—and B&D will emblazon it in sparkly letters on the item of your choice.
While you're at it, shop the rest of the pop-in's trendy pieces with a ’90s vibe and current pop culture references; including goodies from Dylan's Candy Bar, Birkenstock, Hello Kitty, and more.
WHEN: Make your design debut when Bow and Drape pops up at the pop-in during open hours from March 27 through 29. Magic Hour will remain in store until April 19.
