Popup: Object

Think of it as the best farmers market you’ve never been to. Yet.

By Laura Cassidy May 31, 2012

WHERE: Object, the gallery-and-shop in Belltown

WHAT: At this week-long popup shop collaboration between the design collective Glasswing, the local furniture makers at Brackish, Seattle Urban Farm Company, and Object’s Charlie Schuck, you’ll find a range of home objects, clothing, plants, and produce.

It might be best to think of it as highly focused mini version of the best Fremont Sunday ever, or maybe a highly designed farmers’ market. After all, what’s more Seattle-y than grabbing a copy of Seattle Urban Farm Co’s new Food Grown Right, in Your Own Backyard, as well as a bundle of kale to inspire your digging, and shirt to wear after a day of hipster agriculture?

WHEN: The popup shop is open for business as of now, and it’ll stay flush with furniture, vegetables, and other fun stuff through June 7. Hours are 11 to 7 Monday thru Thursday; 11 to 8 Friday and Saturday; 12 to 6 on Sunday.
