There’s a new blow-out in town; you’ll find it on Seventh and Pine near the Grand Hyatt Hotel at Mane Blow Dry Bar.

Mother-and-daugther team Judith and Kate Winquist officially open their doors Friday, January 6 with seven seats and seven blow dryers ready to go.

I met with Kate a few months ago, while Mane was getting outfitted with chartreuse-shaded seating, vintage-inspired accents, and modern decor. The Seattle-born lawyer and consultant, who has chestnut-brown locks that fall in soft, easy waves like she just wakes up that way, got hooked on blow-out services while she was living in New York and LA and attending parties and events with her clients.

She gets the oftentimes invaluable experience a dependable go-to stylist, and as a business woman, she’s keenly aware of the beauty biz’s biggest trend.

Mane offers a suite of five styles (matched to celeb headshots for your visual reference—Jennifer Aniston alert) all priced at $35 as well as a load of add-ons, up-dos, and makeup services.

And this is pretty great: There’s a lounge-y dressing room for those gals who are really in a pinch. Bring your party dress; once you’re primed and ready to go, you really can get ready to go without running home first in a hurried rush.
