The deconstruction-construction-decorating process took three months, transforming the former Adventure Travel Co space into a warm and welcoming salon. How long will your lashes last? Co-owner Brittany Wilson says, ’That depends on how well you care for them, but you naturally shed 3-4 lashes per day, which means you have about a month before you need a fill.
Literally "warm" with a fireplace and candles throughout. You’ll want to beware of the conditions after your eyelashes have been done at Blink: Wilson says, ‘No waterproof mascaras, or otherwise oil-based mascaras, no oil-based makeup removers near the extensions, and no curlers – they can crimp and ruin the extensions. A water-based mascara is okay, but does, over time, break down the bonding glue faster than if you don’t use mascara, which you don’t need anyway with extensions.’ We also found out that you should avoid steam for at least 24 hours, preferably 48, as well as hot water. Blink had one customer that went straight from her lash appointment to hot yoga and lost all of her lashes within the hour.
A quiet, low-lit room where you can zone out while your glam factor is significantly upped completes the experience.

…and after. Since our services, Blink has added another service, Lash Dip. This treatment is applied in a similar manner but the product goes over the lash, looking not unlike a ‘semi-permanent coat of mascara.’ The treatment lasts from six to seven weeks, it also works well for bottom lashes — which are off limits with extensions. Blink reports to be ‘the only lash salon in the Pacific Northwest to offer this service.’
