Once Sold, Now Free

Kent’s Once Sold warehouse: Browse 26 categories of used books or use kiosks (located at the retail shop next door) to search the online-database
Where: Once Sold Tales Bookstore Outlet
What: Next door to an unassuming used bookstore, complete with free coffee and tea, is something a little more rare. Adjacent to Kent’s Once Sold Tales storefront (not to be confused with Twice Sold Tales on the Hill and the U District) is a warehouse storing titles collected from over 200 sources around the Northwest. Libraries, thrift stores, and customers are all major suppliers, bringing in about 10,000 new books to choose from each day.
Once Sold Tales and its warehouse are brand new- doors opened July 5 – and to celebrate, there are free books for all. One for each customer who claims one. Though your first novel, how-to, picture tome, or poetry collection is on the house, the rest of your warehouse loot rings in at a low $1 per pound. (Once Sold’s owner tells us books are about a pound each, so load up accordingly.)
When: The giveaway lasts through July.
