I don’t know what you were going to have for lunch on Sunday June 6, but how does this sound: Roasted and chilled golden beet soup, sweet potato and Dungeness crab cakes with chipotle remoulade, maple and miso-glazed Copper River Salmon skewers, roasted pig sliders with veggie slaw, lavender lemon bars and triple chocolate brownies?

That’s what the Herban Feast folks are cooking up to christen The Fields, the new outdoors wedding and events venue at Willie Green’s Organic Farm in Monroe.

It’s a great opportunity to check out the lay of the land and sample the goods of one of the city’s top catering companies as well. Is a big family-style table among the corn rows right for you? Is a platter full of sweet crab cakes?
