I’ve been told this almost never happens.
On Friday May 28 from 9:30a to 9:30p, the Bellevue Square Eileen Fisher shop will host a sample sale. The store is receiving 150 one-of-a-kind samples from their designers and passing them on to you for between $29 and $89.
It’s hard to know just what to expect — sweaters, dresses, spring tanks, outerwear? — at sales like this one, which is, of course, part of the fun.
Safe to say, though: It’s more-than-reasonable to hope for surprising color palettes, ageless ease, smart construction, and great textiles.
Check the slideshow for a bank of images from Eileen Fisher’s current line. While there’s no telling if these picks are representative of what’ll be on the racks, all’s fair in hoping and anticipating, right? And then there’s this: The female-owned company is widely recognized for giving back to the community via women’s organizations that support anti-violence, independence, and education, which really just sweetens the deal.
