Gorgeous, huh? From the NY-based, Spanish-made line Coclico, the Niben boot in a heart-melting dark, creamy shade of taupe has arrived at Promesse in Kirkland. The clog-like heel has been inching its way under all manner of sandals and boots in the last year or so, and it looks pretty perfect here. So 70s, so Seattle, so easy to wear.

EDIT November 12 8p.m. Just got word from Francine that she actually has the tall heeled boot in black only … but she has Coclico’s flat heeled tall boot in the gorgeous taupe shade.

This style is sold-out on Coclico’s online shop — just a hint at the exclusivity level here. You wouldn’t buy them online when you could buy them from Francine Park out on Central Way anyway, but I’m just saying. You’re not likely to run into eighteen other women rocking this exact same knee-high. And yes, that does count for something.
