Among the new fangled styles at the new shop are these heeled booties. Very Winona-meets-Rihanna if you ask me.
There were also these desert boot-esque Docs. There’s a lot of that colored laces/colored accents thing going on in mens’ shoes right now. Thoughts? For my money, or my husband’s feet, I’ll stick with simpler styles, and I’ll definitely stick with the desert boot originals by Clarke’s.
Over at Fluevog, I liked these wingtip-styled boots …
..these ones, well, it’s not so much that I like them personally, more that I have to appreciate the statement they make and the Red Hot Chili Peppers early-90s vibe they’re giving.
New on Second Avenue, across the street from Turf, the diviest dive diner in town, and a few steps south of 1521, that really gorgeous condo high-rise (if you’ve been inside, you know the gorgeousness of which I speak): A Dr. Martens shop.
