West Seattle Junction merchants go tax-free tomorrow

April 24, 2009

This just in: Tomorrow, Saturday April 25, participating West Seattle Junction merchants (Capers, Clementine, Bakery Nouveau, Edie’s, Swee Swee and lots more) are saying to hell with sales tax.

The Junction Rebellion (it does make you want to cue Billy Idol, doesn’t it? I mean, especially considering the return of the fingerless glove?) was designed to give shoppers all over Seattle a little economic relief, consider it a gift-with-purchase that you’re also helping keep local moms-and-pops afloat. Expect bargains, discounts, and promotions all over the area surrounding California Ave SW and SW Alaska Street.

[The super cute Chie Maharas pictured above were stolen from the Clementine site — go see Linda, she’s got great stuff.]
