Baby Mamas

While working with moms to find the most adorable and durable baby and toddler clothing in her Kirkland warehouse and storefront, Seattle designer Kate Quinn kept fielding requests to make things bigger. Lots bigger. Like, mom-sized.
So she did. Using the exact same modern, style-conscious, color-saturated organic cotton that makes those sweet little size 2T jumpers and teeny tiny knits, Quinn put together a line of yoga pants, wrap dresses, color-blocked hoodies, and layering tops that moms, and other comfort-lovers, will want to live in.
Quinn, a relatively new mom herself (and oh that little Ruby), recalls a Velvet-brand tunic she once owned as she describes the direction of her new line. It was a piece she wore over and over and over, and then over some more. We all have those kinds of staples, and Quinn wants to make sure that yours are organic, and that they last for a really long time—and, if you’d like, that they coordinate with your toddler’s, too.

The best place to find your new favorite Kate Quinn tunic is at the Kirkland shop or the online version of the same.
