I heard on KEXP this morning that it’s David Bowie’s birthday today, so please have a piece of cake on his behalf. The union of music-and-fashion certainly wouldn’t be what it is without him—and men, gay and straight alike, wouldn’t have permission to wear super-tight metallic pants and alien shoulder pads. Not that I necessarily think they should. I’m just saying.
