Dr. Kohn’s practice focuses on comprehensive joint reconstruction of the hip and knee. His areas of expertise include:

• Primary and revision hip and knee replacements
• Robotic-assisted total joint arthroplasty (MAKO technology)
• Anterior and posterior approach total hip replacement
• Partial knee replacement
• Minimally invasive surgical techniques

His use of robotic guidance systems and modern surgical approaches allows for greater precision, improved outcomes, and faster recoveries—especially important for active adults and seniors looking to maintain independence and mobility.

 

A Northwest-Based Career of Excellence
Originally from Washington, Dr. Kohn received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Washington / Harborview Medical Center, where he also participated in research and academic publications.

Following residency, he pursued advanced fellowship training in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California, a nationally recognized center for joint replacement innovation.

Prior to joining ProOrtho, Dr. Kohn led robotic-assisted joint programs at St. Anne Hospital in Seattle, helping to expand access to high-quality, technology-driven orthopedic surgery across the region.

• Orthopedic urgent care on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Onsite pain management, physical therapy, and non-surgical services
