Experience the Art of Tasting Steak

The Metropolitan Grill is a legendary Seattle steakhouse renowned for its premium USDA Prime beef, world-class service, and timeless elegance. This May, steak lovers are invited to explore an exclusive new offer: the Chef’s Steak Flight, a blind tasting experience unlike any other.
About the Experience
Foodies from all walks of life are invited to visit The Met and sink their teeth into a curated tasting featuring three exceptional cuts of beef. Each one has been hand-selected by Corporate Executive Chef Eric Hellner for its distinct marbling, texture, and flavor. Presented blind, the tasting invites guests to slow down, savor, and discover their personal preferences—one bite at a time.

This dining experience is designed for two to four guests, and features a rotating selection of cuts and preparations, each with its own distinct character. The flight is served with a choice of mashed or baked potatoes and seasonal asparagus, and wine pairings to complement each cut are also available.

Each flight is entirely the chef’s choice and changes regularly—no two are ever the same. From dry-aged to Wagyu, every cut tells a story. “Every cut has a character,” shared Chef Hellner. “This tasting helps you find the one that speaks to you.”
Whether you’re celebrating something special or simply seeking a deeper appreciation for the nuances of premium beef, this is a dining experience not to be missed.
Located in the heart of downtown, The Met offers a remarkable dining experience that beckons diners to indulge in the finest cuts and classic steakhouse flavors that have cemented the establishment as a beloved institution for more than four decades.

The only steakhouse in the area that offers a global steak program, The Met introduces diners to steaks from around the world. All steaks are custom dry-aged and seared over mesquite charcoal, known as the ‘Iron Wood of the World,’ to achieve an exceptional depth of flavor.
