Your Winter, Your Way:

4 days of fun for everyone.

Presented by Sunriver Resort January 8, 2024

EXPLORE THE NATURAL WINTER SPLENDOR OF SUNRIVER RESORT, the Pacific Northwest’s most treasured destination for indoor and outdoor winter adventure. This itinerary is your key to unlocking your favorite season ever, from snowshoeing to yoga classes.

Day 1 - Swimming, Golfing and Stargazing

While it may be a winter wonderland outside, it’s warm and toasty in The Cove Aquatic Center. Splash around the heated indoor pool, add a fun ride or two down the indoor waterslide and take advantage of your rare chance to swim in the winter. Dry off and work on your golf swing with the state-of-the-art indoor Golf Simulator by Foresight Sports, located in the lower level of The Merchant Trader. Then it’s time for an afternoon rest, whether in your room or the Main Lodge’s communal area, before a dinner of hearty farm-to-table favorites at Lodge Kitchen. Afterward, grab a warm after-dinner beverage at the Owl’s Nest and head out to stargaze (every Friday night at The Backyard), discovering what makes Sunriver so special as an International Dark Sky Place.

Day 2 - Mountainside By Day, Barside By Night

Take the Sunriver Resort shuttle to Mt. Bachelor to hit its gorgeous snowy slopes for skiing or snowboarding. Experts and novices alike are welcome! With a variety of runs, you’re sure to find exactly what you need on the mountain. It’s always hard to say no to “just one more run,” so we know this tends to be a full day of fun. When you’re done with the mountain, retreat to your room for a rejuvenating rest beside your glowing fireplace — there’s a fireplace in every guest room — and then freshen up for dinner. After a day on the slopes, the right call is definitely craft pub fare, draft beers and live music at Owl’s Nest. (Carbs have never been more deserved.)

Day 3 - Meditation, Nature and Fine Dining

Whether you’re an everyday yoga practitioner or simply someone who’s always been curious about yoga, settling in for a restorative yoga and meditation session at Sage Springs Club & Spa is one of the best ways to start your day. Feeling peaceful? Relaxed? Take that energy a step further, all the way to the Sunriver Nature Center, where a fun team of naturalists provide a delightful and informative education about Sunriver’s local wildlife and the wilderness they call home. It’s a fascinating, fun experience. Once the sun sets, rest up by the fire in your room for a spell before heading off to enjoy a memorable dinner at The Grille at Crosswater, featuring finely crafted dishes made with the finest local ingredients, set in a charming setting reflective of the region. (Be sure to book a reservation.)

Day 4 - Snowshoeing, Pickleball and Souvenirs

Greet the day with an explorer’s enthusiasm by snowshoeing across the gorgeous landscape surrounding Sunriver Resort. Stop for pictures, survey the beauty of the snowy wilderness, and work up quite the appetite. Satisfy your cravings with lunch with a poolside lunch at The Spotted Frog, featuring a menu designed for vacation and a full bar that includes beer and wine from the Pacific Northwest. Reengerized and rehydrated, head for the indoor pickleball courts at Sage Springs Club & Spa to work up a sweat. As it’s your final day of vacation, it’s time to hit the gift shop, either for a souvenir for yourself — it’s been a memorable trip! — or a souvenir for someone back home, just to let them know you were thinking of them.

Only Sunriver Resort, with unmatched indoor and outdoor amenities spread across 3,300 acres of natural Central Oregon splendor, can cater to each traveler’s unique interests and inspire the year’s most unforgettable vacation.

Book your stay today to discover everything winter should be, from epic skiing and indoor swimming to unwinding at the spa and savoring the region’s finest dishes. At Sunriver Resort, it’s “Your Winter, Your Way.”
