Come wander Walla Walla Valley with us.
‘Wander Walla Walla Valley Wine’ is the region’s seventh annual winemaker-curated itinerary series that gives wine lovers a unique close-up opportunity to sip, see, and do as Walla Walla winemakers do. One of the best ways to experience prized wineries, eateries, and attractions, it features select vintners who have created custom itineraries, recommended for usage between October 1 through December 17, 2023.

With free registration, visitors can find itineraries that stand out to them and download them here. The easy to follow itinerary is a pay-as-you-go experience, allowing visitors a one-of-a-kind weekend or week-long experience that introduces them to world-class wines and restaurants that specialize in locally grown and sourced farm to fork cuisine, all while getting to know some of the wonderful people that are behind it all.
For example, explore the ‘Hidden Gems of Walla Walla’ featuring Kyle MacLachlan’s (owner of Pursued by Bear) favorite spots, or Marcus Rafanelli’s (winemaker for L'Ecole N° 41) favorite wineries started by students from his time as an instructor at Walla Walla Community College Institute of Enology and Viticulture. Perhaps a choose-your-own adventure itinerary is more your speed, where you can enjoy the day through the eyes of a local winemaker.

Getting to Walla Walla Valley is easy. From Portland, meander through the picturesque Columbia River Gorge and arrive in just 3.5 hours. From Seattle, hop on one of two direct flights to Walla Walla on Alaska Airlines, or enjoy the scenic four-hour drive over the Snoqualmie Pass through the Cascades to get there.
