The summer’s biggest wine event is back in-person this year, just in time for the Auction of Washington Wines’ 35^th anniversary! The Winemaker Picnic and Barrel Auction, presented by John L. Scott Foundation, benefits Seattle Children’s, WSU wine science research, and Vital Wines. You’ll have the opportunity to meet winemakers, taste a selection of more than 100 wines, and enjoy global BBQ from some of the most esteemed chefs from the Seattle area!

Choose from more than 100 wines, many of which are being poured by the winemakers themselves! Hear their stories, ask about their winemaking approach, and find out what makes the wine they are pouring for you so special.

GRAB A NOSH

Great wines deserve food that goes beyond traditional picnic fare, and this year there will be seven Seattle-area chefs and restaurants providing an array of global BBQ dishes to choose from! Choose from smoked oyster mushroom fajita tacos from Jack’s BBQ, lamb shami kebabs from Rasai Indian, smoky rib tips from Communion, and more! Got a sweet tooth? Head to the nitro ice cream bar from FogRose or round out your meal at the cheese tent!

Serious about your wines? The Barrel Auction is your chance to taste barrel samples and be one of five winning bidders to secure a case of the future release wine before it’s available anywhere else.
