Sorticulture: Everett's Premier Garden and Arts Festival

The unofficial start to all things summer in the Pacific Northwest is none other than Sorticulture, Everett’s premier garden and arts festival. This three-day celebration, June 10-12, in downtown Everett is an ode to the best parts of the Pacific Northwest outdoor living. Prep and decorate your gardens, patios, and homes and get ready for the best summer ever with beautiful garden art, gorgeous local plants and flowers, and unique handmade outdoor products.
This iconic festival has kicked off summer in Everett for over 25 years, attracting gardeners, art enthusiasts, and visitors from all over. At its new home in downtown Everett, this year’s festival will be better than ever. Spend the day browsing the offerings from 150 vendors and discover one-of-a-kind works of art and a wide variety of plants to brighten your home and garden.

Now when we say one-of-a-kind artwork, we mean it. There was literally a huge metal, fire-breathing dragon sculpture one year; talk about a conversation piece for your next BBQ. But if you’re looking for something a little more subtle to add a splash of color or texture here and there, they’ve got that too. Brighten your garden or home with handblown glass sculptures, perfectly crafted planters, tranquil windchimes, whimsical garden ornaments and so much more. All handmade and unique, so you can find the perfect piece to complete your garden, patio, or favorite room.

Now let’s talk plants. Whether you’re a master gardener or a novice, Sorticulture’s expert growers and nurseries have you covered. Find the perfect plant to complete your garden, or chat with the vendors to discover the perfect variety to start working on that green thumb of yours. From the most popular plants to the incredibly rare, your senses will be filled with gorgeous colors, textures, and smells, complete with expert advice to help your new garden additions thrive. And you’ll definitely want to stop by the stage for talks and demonstrations from the who’s-who in gardening, including THE Cisco Morris.
While you peruse, grab a snack or stop by the beer and wine garden for a sip and enjoy live music from some of the area’s hottest artists. And since you’ll be in the heart of downtown, you’ll have your pick of amazing restaurants, taprooms, and bars to satisfy any craving and refuel after a day of festival fun. Many restaurants and taprooms are welcoming of your favorite furry friend if you want to bring them along; just make sure they are on a leash and comfortable in crowds.
