What could be better than sipping a locally handcrafted brew or vintage champagne while savoring a chef’s inspired creation as the sun sets in the Pacific? Few food festivals capture a sense of place like the Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival (HFWF) which celebrates the state’s natural bounty, promotes local sustainability, and benefits local culinary education. Co-founded by chefs and restaurateurs Alan Wong and Roy Yamaguchi, HFWF celebrates Hawai‘i’s cutting edge culinary scene and features an all-star line up of Hawai‘i and international chefs cooking with locally sourced ingredients while renowned sommeliers, mixologists, and food world luminaries entertain and educate locals and visitors at innovative, interactive dinners, galas, tastings, demonstrations, seminars and creative culinary experiences on Maui, Hawai‘i Island, and O‘ahu. And since this is Hawai‘i, so many events will be enjoyed outdoors with the sublime weather.
