Top 50 Restaurants Offer Best Deal Around

Just say “yes” to the hottest date in town — this March’s Dine Around Seattle.
Serious food lovers around Seattle stand to enjoy tantalizingly fresh combinations from the Puget Sound’s fields, seas, and distilleries at 50 impressive restaurants during Dine Around Seattle’s month-long, locally sourced dining extravaganza.
Whether it is a cozy dinner for two or a gathering for eight, Dine Around Seattle is the smart destination-of-choice for diners in March. The draw is its curated line-up of restaurants. “The hand-selected restaurants are culinary trendsetters in the Pacific Northwest with a shared commitment to local sourcing,” Marty Griswold of Dine Around Seattle said. “It is this focus that promises quality and sets Dine Around Seattle apart from other dining events. It is as close to a sure bet as a diner can get.”
Restaurants from around Seattle’s flourishing neighborhoods and suburbs make Dine Around Seattle a destination-style experience of discovery. From the “burbs” of Edmonds to a 30-minute ferry crossing to Bainbridge Island to the heart of bustling downtown Seattle to the favorite neighborhoods of Capital Hill, Fremont and Ballard, restaurants from around the expanding Seattle region are selecting the best, seasonal ingredients to showcase on their Dine Around Seattle three-course menus.
Hitchcock on Bainbridge Island is a class act of farm-to-table dining. Chef Brendan McGill crafts unforgettable dishes from ingredients he personally grows in his garden or specially chooses from nearby dairies, orchards, and fishing boats.
Seven Beef in the International District has turned the traditional steak house model on its head to create a joyous ode to man’s favorite mammal with grass-fed beef served up in classic cuts and Vietnamese ground beef delicacies.
Debuting with Dine Around Seattle are Ethan Stowell’s Anchovies & Olives and Rione XIII on Capitol Hill — one that started it all and a welcome recent addition to his local restaurant offerings. Both deliver the consistent quality and dining experience Seattle has come to expect from this restaurateur.
Tray Kitchen in Fremont provides an open kitchen concept with dishes presented table-side, but nothing prepares the diner for the complexity of flavors to come. It is an explosion of locally sourced ingredients served to perfection.
Other stand-out menu choices to help diners navigate the neighborhoods include: Salmon Niçoise Salad lunch at Trellis Restaurant in Kirkland; Mandu at Girin Steakhouse and Ssam Bar in Pioneer Square, recently named a seminfinalist for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation; Moelleux au Chocolat at Ponti Seafood Grill in North Queen Anne; and Pan Seared Salmon from Local Best award-winner Bar Dojo in Edmonds.
Dine Around Seattle unites local restaurateurs and nearby producers, enlivens neighborhood economies, and sets diners out on a culinary adventure. Unraveling Seattle’s burgeoning dining scene through its focus on local, it is a win for all.
Beginning March 6th, diners will have the opportunity to choose a three-course meal created with fresh local ingredients from 50 extraordinary restaurants who have helped to establish the culinary trends of the Pacific Northwest through a shared commitment to local-sourcing.
Restaurant specials run Sunday through Thursday starting March 6th until the 31st. Participating restaurants offer three-course dinner menus of one appetizer, one entrée, and a dessert for just $33, with many restaurants offering a special lunch menu for $18.
