Description

Owner Jeff Eagan returned from England in 1991 with a fondness for neighborhood pubs, and opened this cozy corner joint in hopes of recreating that local pub atmosphere right here in Seattle. Along with chef and co-owner Jeff Reich, Eagan invites his neighbors to gather at the Ale House and enjoy the best in regional micro-brews and pub fare. 74th St Ale House makes some necessary concessions to the traditional English menu by trading in goopy bangers and mash for fresh fish tacos, and serving a fresh take on the traditional burger. This one’s made with Oregon grain-fed lean ground beef and served on a baguette.
