While the real burden on Congress this week was passing a giant, divisive budget , the interesting news from our delegation had to do with the environment : Rep. Jay Inslee (D-WA,1) introduced three pieces of climate legislation this week, including a cap-and-trade plan that could put critics of the Obama plan at ease.

And Rep. Jim McDermott (D-WA,7) has his own unique approach to getting companies to reduce emissions.

But it wasn't all green this week. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, continuing their anti-Dave Reichert (R-WA, 8) campaign, aimed two press releases at Reichert (R-WA,8) critiquing his recent voting record.
