Ethan Chung joined SagaCity Media as associate editor for Custom Media in June 2015. He edits and writes for the Bellevue, Tacoma, and South Lake Union custom publications and contributes to other custom media at SagaCity. 

As a big believer in journalism as an essential civic service, Ethan gives his time as a volunteer for the Society of Professional Journalists. He was recently elected the Region 10 Director of SPJ, which covers Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Ethan spends a good chunk of his time daydreaming about white sandy beaches, plate lunches, and poke. He enjoys games of all kinds, playing tennis, watching basketball, writing, cooking, and eating (yes, that’s a hobby.) Ethan lives in Greenwood with his lovely wife Lily, their daughter Lincoln, and a fat cat named Momma.
