The Seattle Times Presents: 2014 Pictures of the Year
2014 was a crazy year, filled with victories big and small, controversy, and city-wide solidarity. And that was just the Seahawks Super Bowl win!
Really though, looking back at the headlines of the previous year, Seattle (and Washington state) really ran the gamut: $15 minimum wage, the Oso mudslide and Carlton Complex fire, the fall of Mark Driscoll, Bertha, Ferguson protests, the Seattle Center helicopter crash, and yes, the Super Bowl, just to name a few.
Look back on the year in photos with the Seattle Times' 2014 Pictures of the Year. Presented in conjunction with the Seattle Public Library Foundation, this event is free and open to the public.
