Seattle Turkey Trot
Support the Ballard Food Bank and meet your quota for adorably named community happenings at the 8th annual Seattle Turkey Trot.
This is a casual event, so feel free to walk, jog, but preferably trot (with leashed dogs, if you feel so inclined) the 5k from Sunset Hill to Golden Gardens. Registration is $25.

Seattle Storm Toy Drive
This year, show a little love to children in the foster care system, and help ensure they receive a visit from Santa, through this collaboration between the Seattle Storm and Treehouse.
There are a handful of ways to contribute: check out the holiday wish list and purchase a specific need, donate cash online, or stop by KeyArena on December 7 to drop off toys in-person.
