Ferguson Solidarity March and Rally
By the time this post goes live at PubliCola, hundreds of people will have begun to gather at Mount Calvery Baptist Church in response to yesterday's grand jury decision not to indict Darren Wilson for the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.
Join in solidarity alongside similar demonstrations nationwide, and help make the rally a teaching moment by keeping it peaceful and productive.

Marc Solomon: "Winning Marriage" Equality
Over half the states in the U.S. have legalized same-sex marriage, and the battle rages onward toward across-the-board legalization. Marc Solomon, national campaign director for Freedom to Marry, has been in the trenches throughout this sea change.
His book, Winning Marriage, chronicles his efforts to protect human rights for same-sex couples. We've clearly come a long way, particularly in the few decades, and Solomon reflects on our progress as a nation, how far we have yet to go, and why he believes proponents in the marriage equality issue will eventually win.
Marc Solomon: "Winning Marriage" Equality, Mon, Dec 1, 7:30pm, Town Hall, 1119 Eighth Ave, $5
