When it comes to containing a massive health crisis, especially in less-developed regions, one of the most important assets is personnel: people willing to travel into the heart of the crisis in order to help save lives, often at the risk of their own. Doctors Without Borders continues to be an invaluable resource for organizing and dispatching these healthcare professionals.
Support DWB in their response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa by attending Early Music Guild's Ebola Relief Concert. Hear compositions from greats such as Machaut, Landini, and Dufay, accompanied by readings and songs from West Africa. All donations benefit DWB and the Hope Project.

Warm the Homeless
It's starting to get cold out there, leaving our city's homeless population vulnerable. While many shelters have opened up for the season allowing for a safe, warm place to stay for the night, often times it isn't enough.
Warm the Homeless is a donation drive that seeks to provide those in need with crucial winter attire, including hates, blankets, and jackets. There are two ways to contribute: help prepare meals and hot cocoa at the pre-drive meeting, or donate to the giveaway itself, or both!
Warm the Homeless, Tues, Nov 25, 4pm, Sea Mar Cannon House, 113 23rd Avenue S, Free
