Want to improve transportation options to the southwest corner of our city? Meet up with like-minded neighbors at the West Seattle Transportation Coalition, which will be working out its committee structure, action plan, and priorities at its monthly meeting.

37th District Democrats Featuring U.S. Rep. Adam Smith

Honor veterans for their service and find out what's going on in Southeast Seattle's 37th state legislative district in advance of the upcoming legislative session (and possible special session later this month) at the 37th District Democrats' monthly meeting, featuring a visit from Congressman Adam Smith (D-9) and snacks from Kusina Fillipina.

Putting Jobs First

Greg LeRoy, executive director of the D.C.-based foundation Good Jobs First—which works to promote government and corporate accountability in economic development—will be joined by Seattle state Rep. Reuven Carlyle (D-36) in a conversation about corporate subsidies by government.
