Today's picks for civic nerds.

 For Thursday

The Future of Bike Lanes

Weigh in on the latest draft of the city's Bike Master Plan and learn more about its development and implementation. The presentation at the Roosevelt High School will review the citywide map of bike facilities, in addition to being  shown at the Columbia Branch Library on Wednesday.

Help Shape the Future of Bicycling in Seattle Open House, Thurs, June 13, 6-7:30pm, Roosevelt High School, 1410 NE 66th St, free.

For Wednesday

Making SODO Streets Safe

Help make SODO a safer place by attending the community forum, hosted by Duwamish Transportation Management Association.

After a series of pedestrian accidents in SODO, a community survey was taken among SODO businesses and employees, finding that most people don't feel safe as they drive, walk, or bike to work. Discuss what needs to be done to improve pedestrian and traffic safety with elected officials from the State of Washington, the Port of Seattle, King County, and the City of Seattle.

Safety First, Safety Now Community Forum, Wed, June 12, 2-4pm, South Seattle Community College, Georgetown Campus, 6737 Corson Ave S, free.

And For Today

Pride at the Space Needle

The Seattle community is  "comimg out" on Tuesday to support equity and justice at the Space Needle. The demonstration calls for the Space Needle to settle a fair agreement with the employees, who have gone two years without a contract. Ten LGBTQ organizations will also be in attendance, urging the Space Needle to fly the rainbow flag during Pride month. Supporters are also encouraged to sign the online petition

Pride Rally at the Space Needle, Tues, June 11, The Space Needle, 400 Broad St, free.
