Making SODO Streets Safe
Help make SODO a safer place by attending the community forum, hosted by Duwamish Transportation Management Association.
After a series of pedestrian accidents in SODO, a community survey was taken among SODO businesses and employees, finding that most people don't feel safe as they drive, walk, or bike to work. Discuss what needs to be done to improve pedestrian and traffic safety with elected officials from the State of Washington, the Port of Seattle, King County, and the City of Seattle.

Pride at the Space NeedleThe Seattle community is "comimg out" on Tuesday to support equity and justice at the Space Needle. The demonstration calls for the Space Needle to settle a fair agreement with the employees, who have gone two years without a contract. Ten LGBTQ organizations will also be in attendance, urging the Space Needle to fly the rainbow flag during Pride month. Supporters are also encouraged to sign the online petition.
