Wedding Crashers: A Discussion of Marriage Equality From an Economic and Racial Perspective

The final installment of a lively and informative discussion series about marriage equality, this meeting aims to get to the core of the effect marriage equality has on a critical piece of the LGBTQ community: working class, low-income, and racial minorities. Speakers include Norma Timbang, an activist and current UW lecturer on social justice and diversity, Marcos Martinez of Entre Hermanos, Seattle's Latino LGBTQ organization, and Marilyn Watkins of the Economic Opportunity Institute.
