In Wake of 737 News, Feds Drop Case Against Boeing
Two days after Boeing's machinist union approved a new contract which included the headline agreement that the 737 would be built in the Puget Sound, the National Labor Relations Board dropped its case today
(brought at the behest of the union) against Boeing over the company's 2009 decision to build its 787 Dreamliner plant in South Carolina.
The union and the NLRB believed Boeing's decision to build the Dreamliner in South Carolina was an illegal payback by Boeing management for the union's 2008 strike.
All is forgotten now.
