Seattle Times: Former Mayor's Aide to Do PR For Strip Club

By Erica C. Barnett November 18, 2011

The Seattle Times' Emily Heffter reports that Tim Killian, the embattled former aide to Mayor Mike McGinn, is starting his own PR firm. His first client: The new Rick's strip club on Lake City Way, which will be opening soon.

Although Heffter reports that Killian is leaving McGinn's office, he was actually ousted from the seventh floor two months ago. As we reported in September, Killian had not been doing the liaison job for several months, and was formally reassigned to a position in the Department of Finance and Administrative Services in September. McGinn staffer Ethan Raup had informally been doing the council liaison job for months. McGinn staffer Jailene Quinto has been formally assigned to the job.
