I'm not down in Olympia today, but I've been pestering key legislators by email all morning trying get any insight into the budget negotiations.

I wish I could publish the last two emails I got in succession exactly as they landed in my inbox.  The visual effect of the similar language is funny as hell given that one email, which arrived at 12:18 PM, is from a top Democrat in the state budget negotiations and the other, which arrived two seconds later at 12:18 PM,  is from a pivotal Republican.

Here's the answer I finally got from the Democrat: "There isn't anything." And from the Republican: "Nothing."

Bipartisan agreement at last.
