Which Candidate Has the Better Police Accountability Plan?

By Josh Feit August 9, 2011

A roster of strong incumbents and uninspiring challengers has made for a ho-hum City Council primary ballot. But one race to watch is the contest between Maurice Classen and Bobby Forch, two exciting candidates who are vying to make it through the primary for a one-on-one against longtime incumbent, Jean Godden. (We're assuming Godden, with her great name recognition, will make it through the primary.)

We asked Classen and Forch to go at it n this week's ThinkTank by pointing to an important issue where they disagree with their opponent. And explain why it's a difference that matters.

We didn't give either candidate the heads up on the other's op/ed, but they both chose to write about public safety.
