Block Party season is not over yet, despite what the weather gods want you to think. Thumb your nose at them by getting in on the South Lake Union Block Party, happening right now—Sally Clark is there—until 11 PM.

There will be the usual fanfare of music, cheap eats, beer, and festivities for squealing kids. Tickle your inner gourmet with bites from neighborhood favorites like Tutta Bella, Venik Lounge, Buca di Beppo, Lunchbox Laboratory, and beloved food truck vendors. (Fun fact about Venik Lounge: Muddling their Russian roots with their Seattle roots, they offer a "health vodka," complete with organic ingredients. Make of it what you will.) You can also indulge your inner wine snob at a Soul Wine tasting. The day ends with an outdoor screening of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World outside the SLU Discovery Center at dusk (9 PM-ish).

You won't disappoint your inner do-gooder either—all proceeds from food and drink ticket sales are donated to YouthCare and Farestart, two community nonprofits that provide job training and other services to homeless youth and underprivileged people.

Finally, design nerds will be delighted to know a limited run of this year's gorgeous poster, signed by the artist, will be available to buy. Sales will also benefit Farestart and YouthCare.  It is posted below so that I won't be the only one sighing with admiration.
