The Chinatown-International District Night Market returns for a third run this Saturday, August 27th, from 6-11 PM. The Chinatown-ID Night Market brings a whiff of Asia's urban nightlife to Seattle.

This year's night market returns with usual crowd-pleasers: lion dances, tasty Asian food, and an outdoor film screening (this year's feature is the new Karate Kid movie).  In addition, Japanese artist Boss Hiko, who specializes in live painting, will be there to wow you with how much more talented he is than everyone in attendance.

Broke college students and other cheapskates will be happy to learn that admission (as usual) is free. You can find the full schedule here.

And the inevitable fun-fact shout-out to design nerds: Since its debut in 2009, the Chinatown-ID Night Market has deftly recycled the same illustration for its poster. (Feel free to debate which poster had the best composition. My vote's for 2010.)
