"Oh Fremont." That has to be the reaction you have when you hear about the Summer Solstice Fair. Their website says that the weekend includes "eclectic activities," but come on, some are just plain weird. There's the Smell Haiku, which is your opportunity to learn how to write your own that's inspired by ... smells. And it's Fremont, so you know there's going to be a certain pungent smell in the air the whole time.

There's also the Dads and Dogs Puppy Parade.

But if you're not into the eclectic activities, then you have to go for the vendors. There will be over 300, ranging from jewelry to clothing to some mouth-watering food. There's also wine and beer gardens.

The live music will set the scene with four different stages. But let's be real, the annual nude cyclists parade is hard to compete with.

Fremont, 10AM-10PM Saturday, 11AM-6PM Sunday
