Extra Jolt: Rob McKenna Has a Google Problem
We already posted a winner. So here's ....
Today's Loser: Rob McKenna
After Attorney General Rob McKenna announced his candidacy for governor on Wednesday night, we took the obvious next step and googled "Rob McKenna for Governor." The first result, though, wasn't McKenna's official campaign website . Instead, it's a spoof — sponsored by the Washington State Democratic Central Committee — meant to "shine the light" on McKenna's conservative positions.
The Democrats chronicle McKenna's political career, going back to 1984 when he was elected student body president at the UW, with tabs for "Health Care Reform" and "Friends & Allies," which track his relationship with Dino Rossi, The US Chamber of Commerce, Kemper Freeman, and even George W. Bush ("It could be that Rob had no greater idol than George W. Bush.")
Though McKenna's official site is relegated to number two, it could be worse (see Rachel Maddow's "Rick Santorum has a Google Problem" clip).
