The Morning Blotter: Drug Dealer Robs Man At Swordpoint

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee May 25, 2011

A drug dealer robbed a man at sword point in his Aurora Ave apartment following a dispute over a drug debt.

Around noon on May 17th, the victim went to the suspect's apartment to "pay off a $50 drug debt and purchase more heroin," according to a police report.

The suspect accused the man of "snitching," pulled out a small sword, and forced the victim to hand over an additional $50.

The dealer then attacked the victim, punching him in the eye. The victim was able to flee the suspect's apartment and call 911.

The victim told police he didn't know the dealer's real name, but said the man's street name is "Uncle."
