Seattle police are investigating a shooting at 24th and Cherry in the Central District.

Around 5:15 p.m., the passenger in a white vehicle--possibly a Monte Carlo--opened fire on another vehicle on the street.

We haven't confirmed whether anyone was injured in the shooting.

A police source tells us the vehicle police are seaching for may have been involved in another shooting a block away, in front of the Garfield Teen Center yesterday evening.

Gang unit detectives are investigating yesterday's incident.
