McKenna Leads Inslee in Poll
Today's Losers: Republicans
State house Republicans tried once again today to force the controversial workers' comp reform bill (a bill that would allow companies to offer injured workers' one-time settlements as opposed to ongoing payments) to a vote on the floor. Democratic leadership isn't keen on the bill; it's currently in the hostile labor committee.
A motion made by Rep. Charles Ross (R-14, Naches) to bring the bill to the floor for debate lost 52-43.

A Survey USA poll of potential 2012 gubernatorial match ups shows the Republican candidate (either Attorney General Rob McKenna or U.S. Rep. Dave Reichert) beating a Democrat (either Gov. Chris Gregoire or U.S. Rep. Jay Inslee) every time.
It's McKenna over Gregoire 52-40; Reichert over Gregoire 48-44; McKenna over Inslee 48-41; Reichert over Inslee 46-44.
Survey USA polled 700 adults between April 27 and 28.
