By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee March 16, 2011

A group of teens attacked a man, tried to stab him, and took a whopping $12 in a robbery in Belltown earlier this week, according to a police report.

Around 3:30 am on March 13th, the man managed to flag down an officer as he lay on the ground at 5th and Lenora.

A police report says the man was bleeding from the mouth and had an obvious injury on his head.

The man told police a group of teens had jumped him, and had punched him, kicked him, and tried to stab him.

The group of teens then stole $12 and fled.

The man told officers he was able to "fend off" the teen armed with a knife, the police report says.

Medics transported the man to Harborview for treatment.
