A man who police say tried to burglarize a Loomis Armored Car office in Seattle was held at gunpoint by security officers until investigators showed up to arrest him, police said.

The burglary happened about 10:40 p.m. in the 5200 block of East Marginal Way. Police say the suspect, 26, broke a window on the east side of the building and climbed through.

He had allegedly pilfered the petty cash and had eaten some food from the building's break area before being held at gunpoint by the security officers.
