On January 6th 2011, at approximately 1:00 p.m., detectives from the Missing Persons Unit responded to  an apartment in the 100 block of Vine St.,  to check the welfare of a 43-year-old female, who had been reported missing by a family member. 

Upon making entry to the apartment, the detectives located the body of a deceased adult female, believed to be that of the victim.

Homicide and CSI detectives responded and processed the scene.  Today, the King County Medical Examiner’s office ruled the death a homicide.
