Thieves rip off 1,536 eighths from Fremont weed dispensary

By jseattle December 9, 2010

Two brazen thieves made off with 10 to 12 pounds of medical grade marijuana in a Monday night Fremont dispensary robbery. Note that Cheech and Chong pulled this caper off in front of no less than five security cameras -- which they also proceeded to try to tear to pieces on their way out the door. Here's the report.

" - 4 N 36 St . This is a medicinal marijuana
dispensary. is alarmed with A.D.T. and has at no less than
(5) surveillance cameras inside & outside the business. The robbery
occurred nearly (2) hours prior to my arrival, so the suspects were not in
the area.
When I arrived, I spoke to V/ , who was the on-duty clerk at

also tried to push the A.D.T. "duress" button, but it was not in the normal
location.
After being punched in the face several times, became compliant
and sat in a chair, for fear of retaliation. told me that
suspects never displayed a handgun or weapon, but they said something like
"TRY TO GRAB A GUN - I'LL GET YOU BACK!"
S2 stole an unknown amount of medicinal marijuana and transported it back
through the window to the waiting area. S2 is seen on camera coming back
through the small opening between the waiting area & the office. During
the robbery, the suspects stole a Hewlett-Packard laptop, thinking it
contained the hard-drive for the surveillance system. (
). The suspects also disable several of the
cameras by ripping the cords from the cameras.
Both suspects fled the area in an unknown direction by unknown means.
