Seattle police said a University Of Washington student was robbed at gunpoint early Sunday as he was walking home.

Police said they responded to a call of an armed robbery in the 5500 block of 25th Avenue Northeast at 3:05 a.m.

Two male UW students said they were walking home when a small late 1990s model sedan drove past and stopped a half block north of them.

Police said a man then got out of the passenger side of the car and ran towards them, pointing a black handgun. The man then demanded their wallets at gunpoint.
