University of Washington officials sent out an alert to students and faculty at UW's South Lake Union buildings about a string of recent thefts.

UW didn't provide many details about the thefts, but did provide a picture of the suspect and her apparent accomplice, a shopping cart.

Police are asking that if you recognize her you call detectives at 206-684-5729.
