The Morning Blotter: Mall Rage

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee November 3, 2010

Police are investigating a woman's claim that a man in a dark-colored SUV stuck a gun in her face as she was waiting for a pizza outside of Northgate Mall last week.

According to a police report, the woman flagged down an officer on patrol near Northgate around 7:15pm on October 30th and said that she'd been waiting in the curb pick-up area outside California Pizza Kitchen, when a dark colored SUV pulled up behind her and started honking.

The driver—described as an Asian male in his 40s—then pulled up next to the victim, pointed a handgun at her, and said "curb pick up [i]s for lazy asses," the report says.

The woman was able to get a possible license plate number for the vehicle, and provided the information to police.

Officers went to check out a Woodinville address possibly linked to the vehicle, but the report doesn't say whether police arrested anyone.
