By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee November 5, 2010

From the SPD Blotter:

On November 4th at approximately 11:44 p.m. officers and fire department personnel responded to an office building in the 100 block of Union Street to contact an adult male complainant who came across some suspicious ”yellow dust” in his office.  The complainant arrived at his office downtown at approximately 8:30 p.m. and noticed a yellow-colored dust-like substance on some of his items in the office.  He cleaned off the items with the dust on them and about 30 minutes later experienced some pain sensations on his hands.  He subsequently called 911.

At this time SPD Arson/Bomb Squad detectives are on scene investigating along with the SFD Hazardous Materials response team.  The complainant/victim has not been transported for further treatment at this time.

This remains an active and on-going investigation.
