Morning Blotter: First Seahawks Get Clobbered, Then Fan

By Tom Fucoloro November 12, 2010

After the Seahawks got clobbered by the Giants 41-7, a fan got clobbered by a passer-by after the driver of the vehicle the victim was in honked at a drunk woman in the street.

The assault happened on S Holgate St as the crowd was clearing out around 4:30 Nov. 7, according to the police report. A woman stumbled into the street in front of a vehicle in which the victim was sitting in the passenger seat. The driver of the vehicle honked at the woman, who the victim said appeared intoxicated.

A man walked up to the passenger side of the car, opened the door, and punched the victim in the mouth. He then allegedly pulled the victim from the car and punched him again. The victim fell to the ground and cut his elbow.

The suspect left and was not found. The victim's mouth required several stitches.

I think the lesson here is that, not matter how good you think your offense is, don't let your defense drop or it's game over.
